Job description
We currently have a vacancy within the Behavioural Support and Intervention Unit in Strathmartine Hospital, Dundee within the Learning Disability In-Patient Service. We require committed individuals who will enjoy working in a challenging environment as part of a multi-disciplinary team. The Service aims to provide high quality and effective support to service users who have complex learning disability needs.
The in-patient areas work over 24 hours 7 days per week and there will be a requirement to rotate onto night duty when required. We have recently changed to a condensed shift pattern where the shifts are 11.5 hour days over a shorter working week.
Being an open, honest, approachable and responsible individual with an attitude to support excellent team working and growth of strong interpersonal relationships across the teams will be critical values and qualities to developing high performance to ensure the delivery of the best care experience possible. We are looking for candidates who are person-centred in their approach and can show confidence when working in an acute environment.
