Job description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a HCSW to join our team of experienced nurses working within our busy Gastroenterology / General Medical ward.
You will have the opportunity to develop your skills under the supervision of our qualified nurses, caring for patients who are acutely unwell.
The post holder will work as part of the team and will be required to carry out a range of assigned tasks involving direct and indirect care for the benefit of the patient, and will be in support of and supervised by a registered nurse.
The hours will be full time/ part time rotational night and day 12 hour shifts.
Working as part of a ward based team to assist in the delivery of a high standard of care under the direction of a registered nurse.
To assist patients in direct care activities which could include assisting with personal hygiene needs , assisting with toileting needs , mobility needs and assisting with with feeding.
To report any incidents or concerns to the senior nurse on duty within a timely manner.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
