Addictions (ADRS) Health Care Support Worker B3
(Please note the salary is Pro Rata) for part time hours.
This post is for 18.75 hours per week Mon-Fri. Various days or hours to be negotiated.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Health Care Support Worker to be part of East Dunbartonshire Alcohol and Drug Recovery Service. The service supports individuals across East Dunbartonshire who require services for Alcohol and Drug use. The post holder will be an integral member of the multi-disciplinary team, working in partnership board wide city wide ADRS services and local community support organisation. The post holder will demonstrate compassionate caring behaviours to fulfil the key functions of the Alcohol and Drug Recovery Service (ADRS) The post holder is directly supported and supervised by Registered Staff Nurse, and will be responsible for contributing to the care and support of individuals within ADRS (when required). The post-holder will provide care and support as part of an agreed plan of care which involves the use of a strength based recovery focused approach to care that proactively involves the person and optimises self-management. The post holder is required to be able to undertake duties as delegated by the Nursing Team, working in partnership with patients, carers and other professionals/agencies in line with legislative frameworks, agreed standards and clinical policies. This involves working in a variety of community, home/ environments.
