The opportunity has arisen for enthusiastic and motivated Health Care Assistants to join the vascular surgical team at Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
The ward supports patients with complex vascular conditions; it has a multidisciplinary focus and works alongside the teams in Leg Ulcer Clinic and outpatients. Your role is to provide direct support and compassion in line with the rest of the team providing holistic care and promoting positive patient experiences and outcomes.
Summary of most important Experience/Skills/Qualifications required:
Genuine interest in caring for patients
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in challenging circumstances
Ability to manage time
Ability to keep calm and work under pressure in a demanding area using team work
Additional skills such as cannulation and phlebotomy and ECG recording would be a benefit

Flexible working times will be considered, part time and full time available. Hours around childcare,twilight shifts and set patterns can be discussed.
