The Impact You Will Have
- The function holder represents the interests of the Managing Director of Allianz Commerical and serves as a communication interface/link for the in and outgoing information of the MD office and especially for communication with the respective Board Unit as well as country and regional managers, as appropriate. The Senior Executive assistant ensures that the MD can focus on strategic matters by processing delegable tasks. The function holder also participates in important projects where involvement of the MD Office is necessary.
- Provide support for growth projects including the implementation of Intergrated Commerical.
- Preparation, participation and follow-up of meetings, also includes driving follow up actions: monthly Executive Member Team & extended meetings, and other executive meetings.
- Pre-screening of presentations and other documents addressed to the MD and sharing with relevant areas to ensure communication flow. Pre-screening of presentations and other documents addressed to the MD.
- Preparation and follow-up of important presentations, business visits and Townhalls for the MD. These often have strategic relevance and impact on the whole region/function.
- Interface function: coordination and cooperation with the Heads of Departments and country/regional managers.
- Participation in project work and initiatives that requires the attention or representation of the MD such as Intergrated Commerical and branch set-up, growth projects etc.
- Managing and handling daily tasks for the MD.
- Organization and preparation of internal events such as the regional/CxO offsite (yearly).
- IT skills (Office applications): Use general office application tools e.g. Power Point, Excel, Word.
- Multi-task profile with focus on effective use of own resources and handling of competing priorities under tight deadlines (Project Management Skills).
- Insurance Know How and understanding insurance financial statements and related key performance indicators, key financial ratios and business drivers.
- Clearly and effectively express ideas and messages via speech and writing.
- Effectively express and display thoughts and ideas visually, using various tools.
- Ability to effectively absorb information from various sources, then analyze, study or examine data in detail, and draw appropriate conclusions.
- Prioritization: ability to filter information, assess priorities and work independently.
- Professional experience in (re)insurance, ideally P&C insurance.
- Proven experience in communication of results to a variety of stakeholders incl. senior management.
- Effectively developed solutions (including implementation) to complex stakeholder requirements.
- Project and teamwork in an international and dynamic environment.
- Excellent tertiary qualification (ideally Master), or qualified by experience.
