An exciting opportunity has arisen for a District Nursing Administrator to join the Powys Teaching Health Board Knighton & Presteigne Team.
This role provides administrative support to the District Team and presents an exciting opportunity for someone who is well organised, able to efficiently manage time and is dedicated to providing an excellent administration service.
The post holder will provide a comprehensive clerical, administrative and secretarial support service to the District Nurse Team acting as a first point of contact for internal and external enquiries.
The post is based Powys Wide
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
The Administration Assistant will provide a comprehensive administrative support service to the department.
This will include;
Acting as a first point of contact for the department.
Answering telephone calls, taking messages accurately.
Dealing with routine and specialist enquiries in a pleasant and helpful
manner, communicating relevant information to the relevant
departments/person, referring to others as appropriate.
Photocopying and word processing documents, letters, emails, minutes
and reports when required.
Updating of electronic and paper-based systems, collating of information,
mail distribution and logging etc.

As a rural health board with around 133,000 people living across an area that is a quarter of Wales, we provide as many services as possible locally.
