Health Care Assistant – Outpatients, Rivers Hospital

We have a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Health Care Assistant to join the Outpatients team at Rivers Hospital.
Rivers hospital is equipped with the latest medical facilities for diagnosis and treatment, and has very high quality clinical standards including effective infection prevention measures. By investing in advanced medical technology, the hospital offers a wide range of treatments and services.
The five fully equipped theatres with ultra clean air technology are particularly suitable for orthopaedic procedures offered such as arthroscopy, hip and knee replacement. Two-day surgery suites are suitable for minor surgery and endoscopy procedures.
The role
In this role you will be an integral part of a team who are committed to delivering the highest quality clinical outcomes in a supported environment, where you will be valued for your skills and expertise. You will create a great experience for patients. Putting their care first, you will have more time to care for them as individual people, not just as patients. You will play a key role within a fast-paced environment where the team will rely on your support.
What you will bring with you
- NVQ in Health and Social Care - highly desirable
- Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet changing needs of the business
- Have lots of empathy for people and will find the challenges of hospital work fascinating
