An opportunity has arisen for a Healthcare Assistant to join our ENT and Dermatology community services to work as part of a friendly team. This post is advertised for the hours between 20 - 30 hours per week, predominantly supporting clinics in the South London area such as Croydon, Greenwich, Bexley, Sussex on a flexible working basis, to include weekdays and some Saturdays.
The contract is for 1 year fixed term, with a view to possibly extend
Ideally you will drive however suitable candidates prepared to use London Transport will be considered.
Comprehensive training will be provided for applicants that are dedicated to providing excellent patient care and support to our clinical team.

Purpose of the Job
The main purpose of the job is to provide high quality healthcare to meet the needs our patients. This post will be based in clinics in the area(s) specified in the contract of employment, however cover of clinics in TNW, BHR and City & Hackney and future new services may be required.
The Health Care Assistant will work under the direction and guidance of the registered Clinician but is expected to work independently in preparing and concluding clinics. However, this is guided by standard operating procedures and requires the individual to use a degree of initiative, and to work to agreed practice standards and protocols.
The hours of work will be agreed by rota approximately 4 weeks in advance. These will vary from week to week dependent upon clinic schedules. Clinic hours will usually be between the hours of 8.00-18.00 Monday – Saturday. The Health Care Assistant should arrive no less than 30 minutes prior to the start of the clinic to ensure that the room and equipment are ready for use.
