Role Description:
Bridge Recruitment are currently networking for a Sales Development Representative to join the Team of one of our clients, a commercial cleaning service provider delivering exceptional support to clients across the UK. As Sales Development Representative, you will be responsible for generating new customer appointments for the sales team, as well as liaising with the marketing team to source new leads. The ideal Sales Development Representative will ideally have knowledge of SDR sales tools, along with excellent communication and relationship management skills.
Responsibilities:
- Generate new customer appointments for the field sales team by means of proactive outbound prospecting via phone, email, and social networking
- Work directly with marketing to discover opportunities from leads and set appointments from those leads
- Use of strong selling and influencing skills to set up qualified appointments
- Understand the company proposition enough to provide high level introductions to prospects
- Work closely with the MD to customise outreach efforts
- Attend sales meetings, training, and trade shows to keep current with technology
- Diligently log, track, and maintain outbound activity
Requirements:
- Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and relationship management skills
- Possess high level of business curiosity
- Must be able to communicate business and service value to prospects at all levels of a customer organisation
- Prior experience in a sales environment
- Highly motivated, driven and self-directed individual with grit
- Knowledge of SDR sales tools such as Linked In and other sales enablement tools
- Ability to manage time effectively and work independently
