Our Care home provides nursing and residential care for up to 65 residents. This includes long-term, short-term and respite care, as well as specialist care for people aged 18 and over with complex needs such as Alzheimer's, dementia and medical/physical disabilities.
Is split over two adjoining buildings. The main building, is allocated to residents with dementia/Alzheimer's, and other complex needs, who require more specialist support, such as help with meals, personal care, and medications.
Who you are /person specification:
With your kind and compassionate nature, you'll love to spend time talking to residents, learning a life history, hobbies past and present, and what their favourite knock-knock joke is.
You'll take great pride in helping a resident to achieve the smallest of conquests. You smile through everything and you'll bring happiness to your work every single day.

- Good numeracy and literacy skills
- Experience in a similar role is mandatory
The day to day job role:
- Fully supported by your team, you’ll work closely with our residents, their families, friends & carers to provide strong & safe, physical & emotional care.
- You will be passionate to empower & support residents to achieve even the smallest of conquests through encouraging choice, independence & dignity.
- With unparalleled kindness, you’ll assist the everyday needs of our residents, from personal care & companionship to joining in with activities & events.
- You’ll be highly organised with excellent attention to detail & a willingness to learn.

- As part of the role, you may be requested to work some weekends.
