Introduction
My client is looking for a Cyber Engineer to provide support for external customers’ cyber and engineering solutions.
You must have a background or current experience in an Engineering specialism role to provide cyber advice on potential business needs. Specialisms can including Systems, Network, Software, or Hardware Engineering.
My client are an engineering and technology consultancy who provide specialist complex solutions for their customers across the National Security space. Candidates must hold an Active SC and will willing to undergo a DV Clearance to be considered for this opportunity.
You will have the flexibility of hybrid working for this role, however you will be based on-site in my clients Southampton office twice a week, including some travel to clients site across London and the South of England.
Key responsibilities
- Architecture design and assurance for complex systems.
- Architecture modelling and oversight of technical designs.
- Investigating how emerging technologies can be utilised to increase both agility and security.
- Engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Skills & experience
- A background in information technology engineering (Networking, Systems, software, or hardware).
- Experience delivering solutions in complex systems environments.
- Experience understanding and architecting complex systems.
- Any background in cryptographic systems and/or key management is desirable.
- Any experience of high assurance systems involving cross domain solutions is desirable.
