Day Surgery Healthcare Assistant

If you are an experienced Healthcare Assistant with a strong understanding of how a Ward operates then we have just the role for you.
We are looking for a Day Surgery Healthcare Assistant to join team in our Practice Plus Group, Plymouth Hospital.
About the Role
You will be a Valued member of the Day Surgery team, support the professional staff with the overall care for all patients in the department.
This role will have clinical and technical responsibilities along with some administrative duties such as welcoming and greeting patients to the department explaining the layout of the Hospital and demonstrate to patient how they summon assistance and where fire exits are.

We are looking for someone who is willing to work hard, learn and develop in the role, but most importantly someone who understands the value of team work and a good work ethic.
The ideal applicant will have;
- Experience or a good understanding of a HCA duties and responsibilities
- Experience in Caring for others
- The ability to receive and communicate information accurately and take instruction from professional colleagues.
- Professional telephone manner
- Someone with the flexibility to fit into internal rotating shift pattern.
