Hi my name is Jagdeep and I am a 39 years old female with severe muscular dystrophy - a progressive muscle wasting condition. I live in Sutton Coldfield with my family. I am looking for a female Health Care Assistant to support me with all my daily activities.These include the following;
Personal care - washing, showering, toileting, dressing etc
Use of NIV machine
Use of Cough Assist machine
Suctioning
PEG tube cleaning and dressing
Administer medication and feed via PEG tube
Cleaning and maintenance of machines
Housework - cleaning, tidying, laundry etc
Passive exercise - stretching and massage
Other ad hoc duties
Full training and supervision will be provided for all clinical tasks. No previous experience required. Applicants must be COVID vaccinated, honest, hard-working, reliable, focused, punctual, proactive, willing to learn and a good team worker. PPE must be worn at all times and good hygiene practices must be followed. An Enhanced DBS check will be completed for successful applicants.
Day shifts - 11am to 4pm - 5 hours
Night shifts - 11pm to 7am - 8 hours
Pay - £13.00 per hour
Panjabi Sikh household - no meat, fish or egg products to be brought into the home. It would be desirable but not essential for the applicant to understand Panjabi, Hindi or Urdu. It would also be desirable for applicants to have a full valid UK driving license.
