Midland Health are looking for an experienced Health Care Assistant to work 20-25 hours per week across 5-6 days. We offer a wide range of private treatments and have a reputation for clinical excellence. We are looking for at least 2 years’ experience in a similar role, such as hospital or GP practice.
Midland Health is a forward thinking and innovative Private GP and consultant medical practice in the heart of Oadby. We are a small nurturing team with lots of support.
This role incorporates HCA skills such as phlebotomy, you will greet patients to make them feel welcome. You will be a multi-tasker and willing to help the administrative team by covering reception when required. You will work closely with our doctors in providing medical examinations, where you will carry out BP, height, weight, spirometry and take blood. Experience in performing ECG’s, vaccination administration and chaperoning is desirable.
20-25 hours per week permanent contract, Monday to Friday with possible addition of some Saturday mornings in future (timings to meet the needs of the clinic).

- You have worked with the general public in a similar role
- You will have general HCA skills such as phlebotomy, spirometry, vaccines management, you may even be an ex-nurse or have NVQ level 3
