HEALTHCARE ASSISTANT
LOCATION: Concept Fertility, London.
This is a clinical role which must be undertaken on-site (no remote working).
Concept Fertility Clinic is a fully comprehensive fertility service based in Putney, south west London. We pride ourselves on offering a bespoke service to patients who are seeking fertility treatment or testing and our priority as a team is always to provide the best possible service to our patients.
This is a very special journey to be part of and we are seeking an individual to become a Healthcare Assistant as part of our Nursing Team.

REPORTING TO: Lead Nurse & Nurse Manager
· JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking an experienced Healthcare Assistant to assist in patient clinics in accordance with the Lead Nurse, including organizing all the necessary paperwork, providing a safe environment and delivering a high standard of care whilst maintaining the privacy and dignity of all patients.
The successful candidate will be able to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, to support the smooth running of the fertility clinic. We are looking for candidates who demonstrate strong communication skills, empathy for others, as well as attention to detail.
· DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Run the phlebotomy service for patients following all health and safety SOP’s
· Collect and prepare samples and generate lab order forms
· Assisting in theatre and recovery.
· Chaperoning patients.
· Take regular stock checks on equipment and liaise with Nurse Manager/Lead Nurse in the ordering of further equipment.
· Preparing exam/scan rooms
· Helping clinicians recording data on scanning machines
· Clean clinical areas and services in accordance with SOP’s and protocols
· Liaise with other professionals and healthcare providers to allow for patients to have a smooth treatment cycle
· Liaise with other team members to book patients for appointments if necessary
· Ensure information, protocols and other documentation is up to date and available to all staff
· Be aware of your own Continuous Professional Development
· QUALITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS
The person taking up the post must:
· Have experience of working in a private medical environment in women's health
· The role requires NVQ band 3 qualification or equivalent
· Be qualified to take bloods
· Have good communication skills
· Be used to working in a busy clinical environment
· Have an awareness of the treatments and services offered by Concept

Job Type: Full-time - 37.5 hrs per week. Occasional Saturday and Bank Holiday working required.
