Are you passionate about enhancing a child or young person’s everyday life?
Apollo Home Healthcare are seeking an experienced Healthcare Assistant to support a young girl with her complex care needs.
We are looking for dedicated Healthcare Assistants who are passionate about their job, enjoy delivering one to one support and who can build positive relationships with our service users and their families.
This is a great role where you will be supporting a happy young girl, who lives at home with her family in Birmingham.
Our service user is smiley, excitable and enjoys listening to music and playing with her sensory toys. She is someone that loves getting lost in the world of entertainment, by watching TV especially CBeebies.
You will be required to support and monitor her clinical needs throughout the night to ensure she has a restful nights sleep. This could include but is not limited to carrying out personal care, moving and handling, administration of any medication and any clinical interventions.
Our ideal applicant will have a strong background in care and preferably have experience of supporting children with complex care needs.
Our service user has specifically requested for female staff to work on their team.
Essential Experience Required
- 3 months previous care experience
- Personal Care
- Moving and Handling
- Medication Administration
Desirable Experience
- Previous experience in supporting children with complex care needs.
- Tracheostomy Care
- Nebuliser Care
- Respiratory Management
- Gastrostomy Care (PEG feed)
We have the following shifts available;
- Full Time / Part Time
- Nights 9pm-7am
- Monday, Wednesday, & Friday.

Weekdays : £12.00 per hour (£120 approx per shift)
Weeknights : £13.00 per hour(£130 approx per shift)
Weekends: £13.00 per hour(£130 approx per shift)
Bank Holiday : £14.00 per hour (£140 approx per shift)
