Duties and responsibilities:

- Perform analysis, design and inspection of maritime structures
- Structural analysis and design with timber, steel, concrete and composite materials
- Prestressed concrete analysis and design
- Develop plans, specifications, and calculations as needed
- Help resolve design problems that may include performing field investigation or inspections, detailed design work, and detailed checking of design computations done by others, or general coordination of specific design aspects into a project
- Calculate construction quantity estimates and assist in construction cost estimating
- Work closely with other architects, engineers, scientists, project managers, etc. on multi-discipline projects
- Prepare conceptual and feasibility study reports and memorandums

Qualifications:
- 0-2 years of experience as a civil engineer,
- Experience in the field of structures is preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required, minimum 2.1
- AutoCAD knowledge preferred
- All new hires will be required to successfully complete and pass a pre-employment (post offer) background check in compliance with NIST 800-171
Physical requirements:
Majority of work is office based, some site visits may be required.
