Job description
Our company is looking for a professionally trained Safety Officer to monitor and maintain safety within our company. The ideal candidate for this position has certification in First Aid and CPR and will also have some experience with risk assessments, worker safety and industrial hygiene, as well as some knowledge on safety equipment. The individual who takes this role will be responsible for implementing safety policies and procedures within our company and working closely with senior management to develop new ways to keep employees safe while they are working.
Up to date Certificates / Skills Cards must be provided along with CV
Responsibilities:
- Carry out and report on workplace health and safety activities.
- Participate in all emergency actions.
- Participate in all training sessions with new employees.
- Check local emergency equipment and be ready to use it if needed.
- Be able to help co-workers in the case of injury or other diseases or accidents.
- Ensure that everyone follows the company's health and safety rules.
- Maintain the company's safety and first aid manuals.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £30,774.00-£32,535.00 per year
