Head Waiter (4 Rosette Restaurant) - Grand Jersey Hotel & Spa
Are you a fine dining Head Waiter looking for a role with some serious work life balance, straight shifts evening service only and structured career progression.
We have an opening for a Head Waiter to join our team at the 5 star Grand Jersey Hotel & Spa to oversee \"Tassili\" our award winning, 24 cover - 4 Rosette restaurant, which is pushing to obtain a Michelin Star.
Your main focus will be ensuring that all of our very special guests receive outstanding service and a memorable dining experience and this will put a smile on your face and motivate you on a daily basis. Your knowledge of food and drink will inspire others and you will enjoy sharing your knowledge through regular training and development of your Chef de Rang.
Of course, being a Head Waiter requires a lot of skill and dedication, so you will have incredible organisational skills and attention to detail, along with the ability to remain calm under pressure. Sound like a challenge you’d like to take on? Then we’d love to hear from you.
About you:
You’ll have experience working in a supervisory role or Head Waiter position within a 3+ Rosette restaurant, this role comes with forward career progression towards the role of Restaurant Manager in the future.- You will have excellent knowledge of wines and Sommelier experience would be an advantageous for this role.
- You will have experience managing teams and will enjoy leading and motivating others to be their best.
- You must be motivated by delivering outstanding service.
- You’ll have experience of working in a fast-paced, busy environment.
- It is essential you are are excellent at building a rapport with colleagues and guests.
- Most of all, you’ll have a professional, organised, charming and friendly approach.
