Job description
We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced individual to fill the Head of Supply Chain role for our client, a highly entrepreneurial and successful market leader supplying prestige car, tuning and crash repair parts with a global reach.
You will possess a degree and possess strong English language and maths skills. Additionally, you should have a minimum of five years of experience in an internet-based business selling globally.
The Head of Supply Chain will be results-focused, possess excellent communication and negotiation skills, and possess the ability to handle stress, adapt to change, and think on their feet. You will have expertise in customer service, automated warehousing, and Warehouse Management Systems. Experience in stock management is a plus.
Additionally, you will be passionate about customer service, professional, disciplined, and self-motivated, and will be proactive and an advocate for continuous improvement.
As the Head of Supply Chain, you'll be the one driving excellence in their fulfilment operations and strategising to improve their P&L. You'll oversee a team and make sure they're hitting their goals by setting objectives, supervising, directing, delegating, coaching, developing, and challenging them. You'll also be their go-to for support, prioritising their tasks and helping them achieve their best.
You'll be the one to ensure that failure costs are minimised by closely monitoring management information and ensuring all data is under control. You'll drive measurable improvements in processes and service, identifying opportunities for improvement and continuously striving for efficiency and high-quality results.
You'll always be thinking ahead and working on the next project to increase capacity and maintain service quality. You'll work closely with suppliers daily to ensure optimal outcomes for customers and create good working relationships with other stakeholders.
You'll ensure that feedback is used effectively and provide feedback where the actions of others adversely impact the supply.
You will take pride in building a robust and efficient supply chain.
