Job description
Our company is looking for a Communications Assistant to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Manage communications calendar;
- Other general support as needed;
- Work closely with Project Managers to monitor budgets, contracts and other administrative functions for client projects;
- Assist team members with research for external vendors;
- Produce creative and strategic communication content for public outreach campaigns;
- Manage and distribute weekly and monthly department activity reports;
- Direct inbound media calls, collecting appropriate information for Communications team to effectively manage the inquiry;
- Assist with the organization and management of photo database;
- Support social media manager as needed;
Requirements:
- Good verbal and written communication skills;
- Superior time management skills, with an ability to work quickly and efficiently, and to prioritize and multitask;
- Highly organized and strong attention to detail;
- Superior verbal communication and writing skills;
- Other general support as needed;
- Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills and innovative thinking.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $18.15-$20.43 per hour
