Queen Margaret University Business School is looking for a skilled and passionate transnational education professional to join their team.
Queen Margaret University currently works in collaboration with a range of overseas partners in the delivery of transnational education programmes (TNE). We have long standing partnerships in India, Greece, Nepal, and Egypt, with most programmes focused on the disciplines of Business Management, and Hospitality, Tourism and Events. Queen Margaret Business School has recently entered an exciting period of development, and we are actively expanding our TNE portfolio with new partnerships in Uzbekistan and Sri Lanka.
The successful candidate will work as part of a team dedicated to supporting our transnational partnerships, helping to manage the relationships between academics in the division and at our partners whilst continually liaising with professional services teams, external examiners, moderators, and any others required to ensure the smooth and effective running of our transnational collaborations. The post holder will lead on assessment moderation management across a set allocation of TNE partnerships and will liaise with overseas/home academic moderators in the lead up to Exam Boards and Joint Boards of Study. In addition, they will provide direct support to the Director of International – ASSaM in the development of existing and new transnational education partnerships and will work with Collaborative Academic Leads to provide administrative assistance in the development of documentation for the validation and review of all our TNE provision.
You will have or be willing to work towards a relevant teaching qualification and exhibit a clear ability to work collegiately with others to deliver set objectives. You will be passionate about the student experience and will be committed to a teaching approach that integrates theory and practice. You should be educated to a postgraduate level in a relevant subject area. Ideally, you will already have a track record of working with international partners and be excited about developing new collaborations. Some international travel may be required as part of the role.
