Here's a fantastic opportunity for an experienced head of operations to join our friendly team at First Response Group.
You will be supporting the business through its continued growth across a diverse range of clients and oversee the successful delivery of security operations.
Additionally you will need to ensure that the business is operating efficiently and contract requirements are fulfilled as well as ensuring that the company is sustainable, successful and effective, keeping staff and our customers happy and that our business is fulfilling their needs.
Key Activities and Responsibilities:
- Providing management and leadership to Operations Managers and support teams to ensure service is running efficiently
- Responsible for monitoring and managing performance of operators
- Account/Department P&L reviews
- Internal and external KPI’s
- Supporting business development team in preparing tenders / negotiating contracts
- Reporting divisional performance to Senior Leadership Team
- Resource planning & recruitment

Person specification (skills, competence, and experience):

- Previous experience in a senior security operations role (guarding)
- Up to date SIA Licence.
- Effective communication skills at all levels
- Ability to question and listen
- Able and willing to take on responsibility
- Process focused and well organised
- Critical thinker & problem solver
- Analytical
- Accurate in their work
- Skilled in Microsoft Office products such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
Desired:
- Experience working in Security / FM services
- Working towards professional qualifications (CIPS)
