Like the idea of joining the Saltrock Team? We are looking for a new Head of Retail and Wholesale to come aboard and join the next part of our adventure!
This is a really exciting opportunity for someone with extensive leadership and retail/wholesale experience.
The Atlantic Ocean, North Devon Coast and salty air, for over 30 years, Saltrock; a British, coastal, lifestyle brand, has had holiday, family, spirt and fun at its heart. Designed in the South West since 1988 we have grown into a loved Devon brand known for its iconic print designs.
This is a really exciting opportunity for someone with extensive leadership and retail/wholesale experience.
With a passion for creativity and innovation, the ideal candidate will have experience of multisite leadership and a general knowledge base of the wholesale market. They will be challenged with keeping our business model lean, simple and affordable whilst we continue to expand.
They will be responsible for driving the agenda of our Retail stores working with our Area Managers and Retail Ops team. Keeping the customer at the heart of everything we do and creating the conditions where our store teams can thrive and be ambassadors for the Saltrock Brand.
In Wholesale they will lead the team to deliver to our rapidly expanding customer base and be the interface with merchandising, marketing and Ecom.
The successful candidate will provide inspirational leadership to our retail and wholesale teams, by creating passion, fun and direction.
This role will cover the whole of the UK and will be a blend of working in head office, traveling to stores and working from home.
What you will bring on the journey:
- Play your part in the senior leadership team in making strategic decisions to ensure the continued growth of the business
- Work with Head Office colleagues to deliver a dynamic Trade and Promotional Plan across Retail, Wholesale and Ecom
- Set clear direction to our Stores and Wholesale teams in line with the strategy and ensure the key results are delivered or exceeded
- Empower and support teams to make decisions and resolve challenges in order to run two profitable business areas and utilising local knowledge to make decisions and choices to add value to the customer at a local level.
- Leverage insight and internal and external networks to keep abreast of key customer requirements, market conditions and trends.
