Tribal, as one of the global leading providers of student information systems and cloud services, are recruiting for a new Head of Project Delivery to lead the global PMO function and a team of Project Managers within our expansive Professional Services business. As a member of the Tribal Professional Services leadership team, the role of the Head of Project Delivery is primarily to lead and develop this team to deliver projects and successful customer outcomes on a long-term and ongoing basis.

Reporting into the Global Professional Services Director, the Head of Project Delivery will have overall ownership of the portfolio of projects across the business. Delivering a strong quality management process alongside effective project tracking and control is integral along with a hands-on engagement on both customer projects and internal stakeholder relationships across the likes of Business Development, Senior Management and the Tribal Executive Team.

The role

Act as a member of the EMEA Professional Services Leadership team, leading the project delivery across the Tribal international business
Deliver through the project management function Tribal SITS & Microsoft Dynamics (365CE) implementations within our Higher Education customer base
Drive customer success by managing and developing a team of twelve Project Managers including direct responsibility within managing the portfolio of projects & generated revenues
Bring thought-leadership and control to the project management function through effective coaching, documentation and quality measures
Own the forecasting and reporting of key financial metrics across the project portfolio and PLC reporting
Enhance and develop the Tribal delivery methodology

The person

Experience directly managing and developing a team of Project Managers
Experience working within a professional services environment for a productvendor, systems integrator or consulting services organisation
Track record of project managing large implementations, ideally within a SaaS environment
Strong experience working within (and understanding the demands of) a B2B services/vendor providing organisation with a strong and demonstrable capability delivering across a project portfolio
Strong skills in client relationship management, particularly at a senior level
Demonstrable customer focus and service sector ethos with commitment to quality and continuous improvement
Excellent communication skills within verbal, written & presentation to customer
Highly collaborative individual who looks for continuous improvement and can apply best practices
PRINCE2 (or equivalent) project management accreditation
