An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Head of Operations primarily based in our London office with excellent people skills to join our dedicated team and contribute to our growth. We are looking for a confident, energetic, passionate, intelligent, enthusiastic and motivated team player to provide the highest standards of professionalism who is proactive in their approach, technically savvy and forward thinking.
The role will be ultimately responsible for Operations and Health & Safety and the management of a large number of staff across regions. The role will require looking at current teams, objectives, logistics, compliance and quickly identifying opportunities for improvement.
The Role:
- Responsible for motivating, developing and managing your team providing a sense of direction. You will drive change, promote a safety culture, identifying and implementing continuous improvements, define and provide KPI’s.
- Capable of implementing and maintaining the necessary improvement to quality, efficiency and continuity through the development of effective systems, processes and procedures.
- Responsible for ensuring all policies, instructions and procedures are created updated trained and complied with at all times.
- Responsible for Health and Safety regulation and ensure we operate a strong H&S culture.
- Determining needs of the operational team regarding hiring, shift control, managing personal objectives and planning team development.
- Ensure that risk assessments are undertaken as required and that the business meets its obligations under applicable regulations.
- Provide leadership and day to day management on all aspects of the company’s overall operations and improve the operational performance of all field activities.
- To set operational performance targets and to assess leading and lagging performance indicators, taking action as appropriate.
- To drive change in the culture of the business, its organisation, people, processes and procedures, promoting delivery, timeliness, technical excellence, and quality and customer satisfaction.
- To propose and implement Operational Key Performance Indicators and business processes which will improve overall performance and control across the key area of process, quality, cost, delivery, responsiveness and safety, health and environment.
- Communicate clearly and professional with business stakeholders handle general internal queries, clarify concerns and identify solutions.
