Job description
You’ll be responsible for running and setting the strategy for the General Operations function, handling product data analysis and support, running and building operational processes to support the function of a growing suite of products and building internal tools for other Operational teams
What you'll do:
- Work with the VP Operations to plan operational strategy and objectives
- Manage and lead a growing team of product and technical analysts
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions to drive efficiency
- Enhance internal controls ensuring they are documented and regularly reviewed and updated.
- Manage relationships with third-party vendors and service providers where required
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to introduce new processes where required, for example for new product releases
- Project manage various Operational projects and initiatives
- Build and maintain a roadmap for internal tooling
What we’re really looking for:
- Experience managing and leading a team of direct and indirect reports
- Proven experience designing and implementing new operational processes in an efficient and scalable manner with an emphasis on automation
- Experience in a fintech or fast paced startup environment
- Intermediate knowledge of SQL
- Numerate with an analytical mind and strong problem-solving skills
- Meticulous with attention to detail
- Proactive with our core value “Make it Happen” in mind
- Fast learning, with the ability to multitask and prioritise workload appropriately
- Smart, with the ability to find solutions independently
Nice to have
- Understanding of Javascript and/or other programming languages
