Head of ODS Development & Airport Technology at British Airways

Are you a top-tier leader with a strategic mentality and a passion for shaping the future of aviation technology?! We're seeking a Head of Development & Airport Technology to play a pivotal role in driving our Operations Decision Support strategy and Airport Technology initiatives.

In this position, you will take the lead in developing and implementing the strategy while also driving forward our Airport Technology roadmap. Collaborating closely with senior leadership across Operations, British Airways, and the broader IAG business, you'll ensure alignment, prioritise initiatives, and navigate challenges optimally.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and align with the ODS leadership team to implement the strategy and roadmap.
  • Champion positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve alignment and prioritisation.
  • Drive the adoption of new technology and innovation within operational areas.
  • Manage budget allocation and influence global airport technology spending.
  • Oversee a dedicated team, guiding them to success and ensuring efficient delivery.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Extensive knowledge of airline operations and technology.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience in agile and digital environments.
  • Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
