Job description
The candidate will be required to delivery medication to patients at home, care homes and GP surgeries. They will also be required to carry out additional tasks delegated by the Pharmacy Manager.
The candidate must be flexible and be able to cover for annual leave and sickness at short notice. Equally the candidate must be organised, work under pressure and be able to adapt to changing priorities with a positive attitude. Team work is important and a positive 'can do attitude'.
The candidate must be able to embrace change that IT may bring to the delivery process and contribute in a positive way to successfully implement those changes.
The candidate must be aware of GDPR (general data protection regulation) and their responsibility within GDPR as a delivery driver. The candidate must also be able to follow processes and procedures outlined by the Pharmacy. The candidate represents the Pharmacy when carrying out their deliveries therefore it is expected that they demonstrate professionalism and integrity.
The candidate will be required to complete an on-line course on 'how to deliver medication effectively'.
The candidate must have a full clean driving licence
the candidate must have an up to date DBS certificate.
Part-time hours: 24 hours per week but possibly more

Experience:
- Light Commercial Vehicle & Delivery Drivers: 1 year (preferred)
- delivery driver: 1 year (preferred)
- driving: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Driving License (required)
- DBS certificate (preferred)
