Support Worker :
Salary approx. : £25,200 per year (figure based on 37.5 hrs & 2 sleep in shifts a week)
Hourly rate: £9.50 -£10.20 per hour, flexible shifts available.

We are currently recruiting for Male and Female Support Workers in Cardiff. You will be primarily based at a single service and will be encouraged at times to work across services to gain increased experience in working with different clients and in different environments.

CANDIDATE DUTIES
A bit of what you’ll do…
- Supporting people with learning difficulties and/or mental health to gain greater confidence in daily living
- Support people to find volunteering and education opportunities in their local areas.
- Ensuring that each of our service users can make informed choices.
- Encouraging service users greater independence in everything they do.
- Forming good partnership working with Local Authorities, voluntary agencies and community groups.
- Planning a range of activities for service users to partake in.
- Promote social inclusion
- Providing emotional support to clients
