We have an opportunity for a Head of Neighbourhood Operations to join our Housing team. The main purpose of this role is to lead the effective delivery of housing management services for the local operation, managing a high performing regional team to meet performance metrics and deliver enhanced customer satisfaction and positive customer outcomes in line with Group strategy and objectives.


The role of Head of Neighbourhood Operations will include:

  • Lead a regional team to deliver an excellent housing management service putting our customers at the heart of what we do
  • Support the development of and lead on implementation of local engagement plans to ensure Sanctuary becomes and remains front and centre in the community
  • Act as a key point of contact and engagement for local stakeholders, supporting operational and customer service teams, as well as the Regional Director
  • Lead high performing regional Neighbourhood operational teams to deliver the balanced scorecard performance metrics, exemplary service standards and compliance with all regulatory requirements within the remit
  • Ensure strong governance arrangements are in place around all compliance, Health and Safety, Building Safety and Water Management activities, focussing on delivery in line with legislation, policy and procedure

Skills and experiences:

  • Degree, management qualification or relevant professional qualification
  • Experience of good practice in resident engagement activities
  • Experience of leading a team and delivering against Key Performance Indicators in the Social Housing sector
  • Proven knowledge of relevant regulations and good practice
  • Previous experience of dealing with stakeholders – MP’s and Cllr’s
  • Proficient user of Microsoft packages including Wors, Excel, Outlook and Teams
  • This role will involve driving on company business. In order to drive a company vehicle, drivers must hold a full valid UK driving licence
