Head of Marketing Transformation
London
As a Barclays Head of Marketing Transformation, you will be accountable for the functional transformation of the broader team, strategic leadership and marketing operations. The culture of Marketing, colleague purpose and oversight of all strategic initiatives are key priorities for this position. You will be in charge of a small team to deliver all marketing operations activity including governance, finance, controls, colleague engagement and more.

• Deputising for the Managing Director of Marketing, directing management of all marketing operations and the execution of both tactical and transformational change
- Engaging and working collaboratively with a large workforce of colleagues, agency partners and senior stakeholders to influence and execute with the support of the team
- Transforming and leading a robust operating model with appropriate levels of oversight, enabling the broader function to work efficiently, effectively and in control at all times
- Providing support, guidance and oversight to ensure compliance with governance and regulatory requirements
- Using marketing and transformation expertise, eye-for-detail and data to identify and execute opportunities to drive improved efficiency and effectiveness across the function
- Embedding a focus of commercial culture within the team
- Driving the strategic agenda and ensuring the Marketing Senior Leadership Team and broader team deliver against the agreed strategy
- Demonstrating innovative thinking without being afraid to constructively challenge the status quo
• Experience in developing and delivering transformational change whilst simultaneously implementing and maintaining an effective model for the management of the function
- Significant experience of managing internal and external stakeholders in a complex matrix environment
- Excellent financial acumen and commercial decision making with a focus on measuring continuous ROI
- Experience operating in a highly regulated environment
• Proven ability to drive transformational outcomes within a Marketing function
- Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt) and/ or Change Management qualifications (e.g. APMG Change Management Practitioner)
- Team player with experience in contributing to the development of a solid high performance culture within a team – making the team the best it can be
- Attention to detail with experience in delivering communications that achieved the desired standards and effectively deliver against both commercial and brand objectives

In the heart of Canary Wharf, our headquarters at Churchill Place boasts onsite amenities such as a gym, staff restaurant and deli bar, and is easily accessible by tube and bus links. With a population of around 5000 staff the atmosphere is second to none with a real buzz being created around the offices within.
