Head of Marketing
Working with a well funded corporate, this autonomous role is the start of building out a marketing team and a marketing capability. You could be a head of marketing or ready to step up to that level.
You'll need experience in setting strategy, setting budgets, measuring ROI, designing campaigns.... you name it, you'll be responsible. Taking the business digital, but using some of the traditional.
The business needs challenge. You need to be able to communicate up and down, hold your ground and negotiate. This role has the long term objective of becoming a Marketing Director.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic marketing plans to drive business growth
- Oversee and manage all aspects of marketing campaigns, including performance marketing, content creation, social media management, and e-commerce initiatives
- Conduct market research to identify consumer trends and competitor analysis
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive brand messaging and consistent customer experience
- Utilize data analytics tools to measure campaign performance and optimize marketing strategies
- Manage and allocate marketing budget effectively to maximize ROI
- Lead and mentor a team of marketing professionals to achieve department goals
Experience:
- Proven experience in marketing roles, preferably in a leadership position
- Strong knowledge of performance marketing strategies and tactics
- Proficiency in content management systems (CMS)
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and best practices
- Experience in graphic design and copywriting is a plus
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively convey ideas and concepts
- Ability to think creatively and strategically to solve complex marketing challenges
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions
