Head of IT Gloucester, England
Job description
We are seeking a Head of IT for a global company, with its HQ here, in the UK. With 500 staff across the group & a global presence, group wide, across several countries – this will focus purely on the UK IT operations.
You will be an existing Head of IT, IT Director (or similar job title), looking to continue your career at a well-established & successful company.
Whilst we will require someone with a solid technical background, this role is more aligned to IT management, leadership, vendor management / selection, change & IT operations; much of the technical aspects are outsourced to external vendors.
You’ll be comfortable managing a small internal IT team of 5, but with responsibility for much larger teams, through outsourced partners & reporting directly to the UK CFO.
Role title: Head of IT.
Location: Ross-on-Wye. We will need someone to be in the office the majority of the time, but after a period of settling in, a hybrid working model can be put in place. 3 days per week in office hybrid. There will also be some travel to other UK office sites, but minimal.
Salary: £65K - £75K Basic + Benefits Package + Bonus Scheme

Dynamics 365 ERP experience (Big, company wide rollout kicking off this year)- Any prior M&A experience
- Any experience of working with PE & investment financial partners.
- Extensive IT change management capability
Aside from that, we ware just looking for a motivated & ambitious individual, who is looking to take ownership of the UK IT operational functions.
