Title: Head of Equity Platform Distribution & Execution Consulting, EMEA

Role Responsibilities:
Core responsibilities:
- Articulate and pitch Liquidnet’s multi-channel equity product value proposition using a deep, technical understand of the algorithmic and block trading products
- Understand client workflows and leverage a unified, cross-channel dialogue on how to execute equities in order to deliver the best combination of Liquidnet products
- Provide external and internal feedback to internal quant and product development teams to drive the development of Liquidnet’s algorithmic and block trading products
- Join forces with the Business Development teams as the technical specialist sales person in prospect client pitches
- Manage the Execution Consulting team in EMEA, overseeing the creation and delivery of TCA across execution channels, bespoke trading analytics and marketing collateral
- Interface with clients to effectively communicate and understand trading performance using Best Execution Analysis
- Work with Distribution and Execution Consulting peers in other regions with the aim of creating a globally consistent offering for clients
Additional Responsibilities:
- Identify market trends and trading opportunities by collaborating with the EQS team to formulate and implement tactical and long-term strategic initiatives
- Work with client-facing teams to identify and seek revenue growth opportunities with existing clients
- Oversee the implementation of account specific action plans to improve client performance
- Assist in the production of tailored client presentations and responses to client aIgo compliance questionnaires
- Assist the EQS team on the execution of revenue and operating goals, including identifying key performance drivers and overseeing a dashboard of EQS customer revenue
- Build effective relationships with business heads, peer groups and support teams globally
- Cultivate relationships across the industry to represent Liquidnet and drive revenue growth
Experience / Competences:
Essential:
- Track record of demonstrating leadership qualities
- Sales/Relationship Management experience
- Dynamic personality with a proven ability to effectively interact with industry peers
- Excellent analytical and communications skills (both written and verbal)
- Excellent influencing capabilities and exceptional presentation skills
- Good technical knowledge of Investment Management and Financial concepts
- Experience and knowledge of Global (especially European) Equity markets
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment with teams both horizontally and vertically, across regions
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Regulatory CF30 (or equivalent) license
Desirable:
- The ability to extract and manipulate large data sets as part of performance analysis for clients
- Technical skills including SQL, Python, R, Excel VBA
- Foreign language(s)
