Space & Time are looking for a Head of E-Commerce with an entrepreneurial mindset and high levels of commerciality to lead our E-Commerce specialism.
The Role
As a Head of E-Commerce, you will be responsible for the growth and performance of the agency’s designated specialism, including servicing the agency’s existing E-commerce clients, identifying and integrating relevant technologies and platforms to develop and grow existing business, in addition to winning new business. The role is positioned as a standalone area of expertise and relies on a deep level of insight, knowledge and products/IP in the sector that client teams, specialists and marketing can collaborate on to extoll this specialist area of the business, with a view to growing and securing the agency’s involvement and authority within this sector.
You will have the full support of the agency’s executive team and you will have access to the businesses existing product offering across media, technology, creative and training; you will be responsible for the ideation and implementation of new products and capability offerings across all existing and future E-Commerce clients.
Within this role you will also act as Client Partner Lead for a number of clients, be expected to contribute to and act as pitch lead on relevant new business and will have senior influence on the conceptualisation of ideas and approaches to specialist client planning projects. As part of your team there will a Performance Director and Media Executive; you will be responsible for overseeing their development and value to the agency and its clients.
Output/Key Duties
  • Development and oversight of a business plan that compliments the agency’s vision for growth and relevancy to clients
  • Researching the E-commerce industry and sharing key insights
  • Forecasting client investment, margin and new business in accordance with the agency’s growth targets
  • Collaboration with the relevant Business Directors to develop and expedite the delivery of relevant products
  • Input and strategic support given to Business Director, Media & Performance Creative, for the purposes of augmenting or enhancing the agency’s digital media offering
  • Collaboration with the agency’s Associate Director, Strategy and Associate Director, Agency Development, to ensure new capabilities and products are underpinned by significant value and point of difference and are rolled out to existing clients effectively
  • Networking and/or speaking at relevant industry events
  • Liaising with clients via phone and email
  • Providing excellent customer service, building rapport and client relationship
  • Negotiating improved rates for clients, securing added value where possible
  • Attending and contributing ideas to team and in supplier meetings
  • Creation of relevant thought leadership content within your specialist area
