We have an exciting opportunity for a temporary Customer Experience Assistant to join the team based in Innovation Connect - Technopole. You will join us on a full time, temporary basis and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of £11.50 per hour.

Making sure our customers have the best experience in our innovation Centres is a real team effort and as a member of the Centre team, you’ll be a key part in this. You will welcome everyone to Innovation Connect – Technopole and ensure that the high level of customer service is maintained.

What will you be doing?

This full time position will report directly to the Centres Manager. At the Technopole, the Customer Experience Assistant is the person who makes the difference. Our customers are busy entrepreneurs, building their own businesses, so should expect from us a great service, a warm welcome and support when they need it.

Main duties and responsibilities of our Customer Experience Assistant:

  • Be the first and last point of contact for our customers and their guests, providing a high quality level of customer service whether its face to face, by email or on the phone.
  • Welcome all our customers, visitors and meeting room guests with an authentic enthusiasm and smile in a friendly, professional natural manner
  • Be the first point of contact for any issues relating to the day to day running of the centre with the aim resolving them or referring them on as required.
  • Carry out a range of administrative tasks from managing keys and passes, electronic filing, updating databases and handling incoming and outgoing mail for customers and much more.
  • End to End management of meeting room bookings including respond to queries, arranging refreshments, setting up the rooms and greeting attendees.
  • Responding sales to enquires in a timely and professional manner.
  • Carry out tours of the building for new and prospective customers.
  • Assisting the team in building a social media presence for Innovation Connect.
  • Represent Innovation Connect at internal and external events.
  • Support customers with local area knowledge – restaurants, bars, events etc.

What we’re looking for in our Customer Experience Assistant:

  • A confident and enthusiastic person able to mix with all types of people and to provide a friendly, natural professional public image
  • Excellent customer service skills to be able to deal with a wide range of queries including complaints.
  • Previous experience in a customer service role.
  • Pro-active and able to work on their own initiative
  • Great IT skill with experience of using a range of technology
  • Good organisational and time management skills; able to work to deadlines and use initiative to solve problems.
  • Previous experience performing administrative tasks.
  • Practical knowledge and experience of Microsoft and GSuite packages
  • Conscientious and efficient with an eye for detail and pride in their work
  • Great as part of a team as well as working on their own when the need arises
  • Flexible – willing to do what it takes to make the centre a success
  • Available Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 17:00
