The way of the Ninja?

You are the right arm of the General Manager and management team. You are eager to develop and further your understanding of the Head Chef role, while never forgetting to take your Ninja’s with you.

We are searching for a talented Head Chef to join our culinary team and manage our kitchen operations. This individual will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of food preparation, ensuring the highest standards of quality and presentation are consistently maintained. The Head Chef will also be responsible for managing the kitchen staff, training, and scheduling, and providing creative input on menu development.

Responsibilities:

- Lead kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, plating, and presentation

- Develop and implement new menu items, ensuring dishes are unique, innovative, and of the highest quality

- Train, manage, and schedule kitchen staff, ensuring they are trained in proper food handling and preparation techniques, and are always working at their highest level of efficiency

- Maintain kitchen inventory levels, ordering supplies, and ensuring proper storage and rotation of goods

- Manage kitchen expenses and costs, ensuring that quality is never compromised while staying within budget constraints

- Monitor food quality and ensure adherence to food safety regulations and standards

- Coordinate with service staff, ensuring seamless service from kitchen to table

- Foster a culture of teamwork and positivity within the kitchen, inspiring staff to work together towards achieving common goals

Requirements:

- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Head Chef or in a similar culinary leadership role, preferably in a high-volume restaurant or catering environment

- Excellent knowledge of food presentation and preparation

- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team of passionate culinary professionals

- Knowledge and experience with kitchen inventory management, cost control, and food safety regulations

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining a high level of attention to detail

- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required

- Know and implement the Ninja house rules.
