Holiday Inn Bolton Centre are now recruiting for a Head Chef (Hotel)
We are looking for a head chef with a proven track record, who is capable of leading from the front in a busy hotel environment
As Head Chef you will...
- ensure that the highest quality of food is prepared and served
- monitor overall quality, cleanliness and cost control across the kitchen and associated areas as required
- deliver and achieve the company budgets and gross profit margins for the kitchen
- lead, coach and mentor the kitchen team to ensure they achieve their maximum potential
About You:
- previous Head Chef experience within a quality hotel operation (or similar) to include restaurant, room service, bar menu and banqueting/events
- stable work background and demonstrable career progression
- hold a Food Safety Management qualification (desirable)
- able to demonstrate strong leadership and mentoring skills
- confidence to communicate with other chefs and the wider team
- proven experience of building, leading and developing a great team
- This is not a 9 - 5 position you able to work flexible hours including evening weekends and bank holidays
