DESCRIPTION
Morgan Stanley Private Bank, NA is seeking an experienced credit professional to join the International Banking & Lending group and partner with a team of International Lending Advisors (“ILA”), International Private Bankers (“PB”) and International Client Advisors (“ICA”) in the development and growth of the credit portfolio for International Wealth Management (“IWM”) clients.

- Develop and maintain data analysis, diagnostic and evaluative models, visualizations and reporting on key performance, adoption and risk metrics. Collect analyze growth data (balance, revenue, penetration) by FA
- Develop management presentations and communications to articulate initiatives progress and to support business management and development. Develop environmental and competitor assessments, gap analysis of international cash management and lending capabilities.
- Project management – provide project management support on complex initiatives supporting and driving progress and accountability to advance portfolio of initiatives for the business. Collect inputs and prepare weekly project progress updates; document meeting outcomes, key decisions and next steps, identify and communicate with task owners to drive accountability and accelerate progress. Develop PowerPoint presentations to provide business overviews, strategic updates, growth initiative updates.
- Risk management – participate in analysis of the lending portfolio to help identify risks, coordinate with specialists the remediation of the risks. Be responsible for tracking and monitor risk metrics and reporting. Coordinate and support management in preparing/tracking progress from weekly and quarterly reviews with Credit Risk.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in computer sciences or other related technical fields
- 5 years of relevant experience as a data analyst, general data management, project management. Governance in the financial services industry is a plus.
- Demonstrate a basic understanding of various systems and coding languages (e.g. Microsoft software, SQL, Impala, Python)
- Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and entrepreneurial spirit
- Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills
- Ability to work with other technical professionals to align on calculations methodologies, infrastructure, data-bases
- Ability to manage ambiguity and bring focus with recommendations on solving tactical and strategic challenges

- Strong at translating a business need into technical requirement, and vise-versa being able to translate data results into actionable initiatives
