Middlesbrough Council with Redcar & Cleveland Borough Council and Teesside University has secured over £5 million funding from the National Institute of Health and Care Research (NIHR) to establish a Health Determinants Research Collaboration (HDRC). We need a new team of enthusiastic professionals to support this.
Working as part of the HDRC team, the Administrator post will involve providing critical administrative support services, including undertaking administrative, financial and organisational processes for the HDRC team. The role will be varied and contribute to the achievement of the HDRC aim that the South Tees area will be an international beacon for research and innovation in tackling poor health outcomes and inequalities.
The South Tees HDRC is one of 12 that the NIHR has funded in 2022 and 2023 with more coming online in future years, requiring the team collaborate locally and nationally.
