Customer Advice Centre Advisor - (FT, PT, Job Share)
Here's what you'll be doing
We are currently looking for x5 Customer Advice Centre Advisors to join our team. For this role, you will be responsible for finding customers the best solutions, funding, and advice to make their home more energy efficient while supporting the successful operational delivery of Green Funding Schemes, ECO4 and other able to pay options. This role offers a great opportunity to increase your knowledge and develop key skills within the energy industry, as well as an opportunity to work with various stakeholders within the business. You will have excellent organisation skills and as such will be able to prioritise your workload. This role will offer the hybrid working approach, where you will be working in the office (based in Trinity - Nottingham) 1 day per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Delivering First Class Energy Efficiency advice working towards an NVQ in Energy Efficiency.
- Delivering excellent customer service, accurate data capture and reporting on your schemes, working closely with your Team Manager and wider scheme leads.
- Managing customer data using Excel and MS Dynamics to support the day to day tracking of residents throughout different stages in their journey.
- Taking inbound and making outbound calls to qualify customers for funded schemes and giving energy efficiency advice. Contacting customers to explain any changes to the project process or customer journey and manage expectations. These customers could be residents, landlords or charities.
- Being adaptable to take on ad-hoc requests from your team and Team Manager to support changing project needs.
- Working with contractors and customers to ensure all compliant documentation is recorded in the application.
- Representing the team by building strong, effective, and productive relationships across wider business and external stakeholders, including Local Council Authorities.
- Problem Solving, being proactive and taking initiative to find solutions and share best practice across the wider team.
What we need from you
Essential skill requirements
- Excellent customer service skills with ability to show empathy and patience with customers.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Good numeracy, literacy, and IT skills (including Excel).
- Great attention to detail when checking/inputting documentation and data.
- Able to manage the demands of multiple schemes, delivering to agreed quality standards.
- Be accountable for your own results and work with your Team Manager to overcome any obstacles.
- Adaptable to change and can take on new ideas and challenges.
- Able to always operate in a professional manner with customers and colleagues.
Desirable skill requirements
- Experience with Microsoft Teams, Excel and Outlook.
