Job description
We are seeking an experienced self-employed cleaner within a commercial environment to keep our popular gym squeaky clean and our equipment shinning new!
Responsibilities: The successful candidate will be required to follow a cleaning schedule, these include:
- Maintain the cleanliness of the Strength Equipment, Cardio Equipment, and overall general sanitation of the gym.
- Primary Responsibilities and Tasks. Cleans / Scrubs all areas of the bathrooms, including sinks, toilet seats, changing rooms and shower area.
- Wipe down all equipment including, but not limited to metal framework, upholstered padding, and handles – This will include possibly moving heavy machines to clean areas that cannot be reached.
This is a great opportunity for the right person looking for a secure, long term role with flexible working hours, ie: night or day shifts.
Ideally, working days:
Monday's, Wednesday's & Friday's - 3 hour shifts (deep cleans) Not essential
Tuesday's & Thursday's - 1 1/2 hour (daily cleans) Not essential
Lone worker clocking in and out system used.
Ideally, working times:
Due to the gym being open 24/7, cleaning is carried out during quiet times, these include early mornings or late evenings. Not essential
Work trial to be carried out prior to employment.
Training provided to acquire Health and Safety, Manual Handling and CoSHH certificates.
Job Types: Part-time, Freelance
Part-time hours: 12 per week
Salary: From £10.00 per hour
