Job description
We are looking for a Support Worker with up to two years' experience and availability to work at short notice. The ideal candidate will be able to work with children, young adults, and their families in a variety of settings (e.g. respite care, day centres) and is responsible for day-to-day support services such as caring for people with disabilities and managing support activities. The individual in this role may require extensive overnight travel and should be willing to work in any location required.
Responsibilities:
- Provide general care and support to older people.
- Remove clients from risk situations and deliver them to appropriate third parties.
- Show understanding of clients' needs and take every effort to meet those needs.
- Participate in the planning of a discharge strategy for clients.
- Understand UK employment law.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 36 per week
Salary: £10.00-£11.00 per hour
