Job description
This Group is a team of 7 partners and 9 sessional GPs, providing care to 29,000 patients across three sites in Yateley/Blackwater, Hampshire. They are looking to grow their team to meet increasing demand.
Their unusual structure as a one-practice PCN allows them to have a fully integrated, co-located support team of ARRS roles and a range of Specialist HCP’s working in Primary Care including Orthopaedic Practitioners, Paediatric & Dermatology Specialist Nurses and a Mental Health & Wellbeing team. Everyone uses EMIS making communication and wrap around care easier.
They offer a friendly and supportive environment for GPs to practice safely and effectively, with a manageable and sustainable workload. Support includes an integrated Workflow Team, processing all incoming documents and an Urgent Home Visiting Team. Their size allows some flexibility in accommodating any areas of particular clinical interest. They are a training practice with four GP Trainers supporting a wide variety of GP Trainees.
We are interested to talk to GPs looking to work between 6 and 8 sessions a week. Our GPs retain a personal list, as we believe that this is important to ensure continuity of care, whilst benefiting from the additional resources available when operating at scale.
They are happy to take applications from GP Trainees who have passed their AKT, subject to successful attainment of a CCT. We are also interested in approaches from candidates needing Tier 2 Visa Sponsorship.
