Your opportunity
The Marketing Graduate Trainee will be responsible for both supporting the Marketing Team and managing their own projects, using their initiative with support from the management team, to maximise opportunities within the UK and Northern European markets.
How you will contribute
The intern is responsible for supporting the Marketing Team in all aspects of the day-to-day operations and running of the UK and Northern Europe marketing department. This includes assisting with the organisation and execution of local events, supporting in delivering the digital, press and trade marketing projects, as well as helping to distribute marketing and communication material to relevant POS and retailer Head Offices.
- Support trade marketing activities (new store openings, shop-in-shops, display initiatives)
- Working closely with the sales team, especially in supporting the image changes in stores
- Order and dispatch ad hoc image and display requests
- Support in the delivery of brand events
- Distributing seasonal marketing collateral to wholesale partners
- Managing PR samples requests
- Updating and monitoring internal database ensuring POS images are updated regularly
- Review customer websites and ensure they are within corporate guidelines
- Review social media accounts of retailers and provide weekly overview of any activity
- Providing digital images within corporate guidelines to Account Manager and / or Customers
- Responsible for deliveries, send-outs, administrative tasks, and day-to-day office duties
- Responsible for putting together monthly internal newsletters
- Preparing PowerPoint presentation packs to be shared both internally as well as, in some instances, third parties
- Keeping an organized and updated inventory of all marketing assets and gifting, making sure all materials are kept up to office standards
- Other ad hoc projects as and when required
- Supporting the management team with day-to-day requests
Working conditions
The Graduate Trainee will be working 3x days a week in the office and 2x days in the field. There will be instances when this will be reviewed, depending on the business needs. The Graduate Trainee will also spend time in the field, especially in supporting new openings or events.
Who you are
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Ability to work under pressure and a proactive problem solver
- Effective project management skills
- Proven ability to work in fast-paced, high energy environments
- Proven track record for strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Team player with the ability to build effective, professional relationships with individuals and teams both internally and externally
- Sound understanding of marketing principles
- Passion for communications and a keen interest in luxury fashion / Watches & Jewellery
- Excellent administration and organisational skills
- Excellent written and spoken English
