Cloverly is an industry leading platform for climate action, with a marketplace for carbon removals and critical software for scaling supplier operations. As the first API in the world for carbon credits, Cloverly is in a leadership position building a new industry that the world deeply needs. You will play a pivotal role in helping direct investment into carbon removal technologies and other high quality project methodologies that will help the voluntary carbon market scale. This person will help our team build category-defining marketplace and supplier software, while bringing strategy and unmatched execution to the growth of our high-quality supplier portfolio.
What You Will Do:
- Grow a best-in-class ecosystem of marketplace partners and software customers across technology-based, nature-based, and other carbon solutions that meet Cloverly's quickly growing demand-side business needs
- Develop and implement our team's strategy for identifying, engaging, and managing relationships with potential partners in the carbon offset marketplace
- Source, vet, and sign new carbon partners that can help bring scale and a variety of impactful carbon projects to Cloverly's marketplace
- Negotiate and structure agreements with suppliers and partners including pricing, payment, and performance metrics
- Work cross functionally with our marketing and sales teams to best position Cloverly's marketplace and software suite in attracting new suppliers and strategic partners
- Manage and optimize inventory levels in coordination with BizOps and demand-side opportunities
You Might Be A Fit If You Have:
- 5 years of Partnerships and/or Business Development experience focused on SaaS or marketplace / platforms
- Strong experience identifying, cultivating, and managing partnerships with multiple internal and external stakeholders
- Expertise in climate is a plus. Candidates should be expected to hold their own with sustainability executives from F500 companies
- Carbon credit / carbon markets expertise: 3-5 years in working with carbon credits research, sales, solution development, consulting, etc.
This role will report directly to Cloverly's VP of Supply
