An opportunity has arisen in the Marketing Department for a Growth Marketing Manager.
About The Kennel Club:
Formed in 1873, The Kennel Club celebrates its 150th anniversary this year. We exist to make a positive difference for dogs and their owners. Our key areas of activity include:
· Helping potential dog owners find the right dog for them, and work with the dog breeding community to ensure those dogs are healthy and happy.
· Supporting dog owners to access high quality training and pet insurance and provide a range of advice and support to help ensure the ongoing wellbeing of dogs.
· Working with breeders, judges, competitors and exhibitors to organise world-class events and to develop the resources they need to thrive.
The primary objective of The Kennel Club is to improve in every way the welfare, health, and general wellbeing of all dogs throughout their lives, by means of various research and educational programmes, and our Charitable Trust. The Kennel Club is an organisation committed to promoting and protecting dogs’ varied roles in society and defending the interests of all dog owners.
What the role involves:
· Development of data-driven strategies which can be implemented throughout upper and lower funnel campaigns, through the identification of levers delivering business and audience growth.
· Identifying and developing marketing opportunities to nurture and grow our audiences, by leveraging digital push and pull strategies to deliver results.
· Measuring and evaluating marketing performance against core business key performance indicators (KPIs) to improve content delivery and channel mix.
· Having an excellent understanding of Marketing technology (Martech) with the ability to deliver best in class reports and make quantitative based recommendations.
· Including leadership content with maintaining editorial content calendar per quarter, ensuring our key strategic partner requirements are satisfied.
· Working closely with the Brand Marketing Manager ensuring alignment across brand and online growth strategies.
· Collaborating with digital and commercial specialists to drive and deliver omni-channel performance across the consumer funnel.
· Quarterly campaign planning, working with internal and external stakeholders to deliver content strategies and campaigns which deliver against KPI’s.
· Overseeing website content and optimising relevant performing content.
· Working together with our media partners to deliver paid performance marketing strategies and campaigns to generate a positive ‘Return on Ad Spend’ (ROAS).
· Creating and delivering compelling social campaigns and content plans which bring the brand values to life across both paid and earned.
· Project management of marketing initiatives across the team and touchpoints ensuring campaigns are developed and delivered in a timely manner appropriate to the consumer focus.
The ideal candidate will:
· Have proven experience in delivering content and online programmes which result in commercial uplift and audience growth.
· Have a data driven mind-set with a focus on customer acquisition, including data analysis scaling through online touchpoints.
· Be highly creative: delivering disruptive performance marketing strategies which bring the CDJ and consumer focus to life.
· Have experience in shaping social strategies supporting commercial objectives.
· Have experience in both inbound and outbound marketing strategies.
· Have experience across Google Suite, Meta Suite and Hotjar.
· Be an expert in SEO with the ability to understand and implement reporting insights from agencies and tools.
· Have experience with PPC / Search and SEO.
Our ideal candidate should be collaborative, able to build rapports, with an action-oriented mindset and appetite to find solutions. You must be data literate, particularly on Google Analytics and have the ability to report on data to find solutions and underperforming areas. The role consists of having attention to detail with exceptional organisation and project management skills.
