An opportunity has arisen in the Marketing Department for a Growth Marketing Assistant.

About The Kennel Club:

Formed in 1873, The Kennel Club celebrates its 150th anniversary this year. We exist to make a positive difference for dogs and their owners. Our key areas of activity include:

· Helping potential dog owners find the right dog for them, and work with the dog breeding community to ensure those dogs are healthy and happy.

· Supporting dog owners to access high quality training and pet insurance and provide a range of advice and support to help ensure the ongoing wellbeing of dogs.

· Working with breeders, judges, competitors, and exhibitors to organise world-class events and to develop the resources they need to thrive.

The primary objective of The Kennel Club is to improve in every way the welfare, health, and general wellbeing of all dogs throughout their lives, by means of various research and educational programmes, and our Charitable Trust. The Kennel Club is an organisation committed to promoting and protecting dogs’ varied roles in society and defending the interests of all dog owners.

What the role involves:

· Measuring and evaluating marketing performance against core business indicators.

· Developing, implementing and managing ideas and opportunities for optimisations through to completion.

· Creating and delivering assets which are aligned to the brand guidelines and resonate with our audience.

· Develop messaging which encourages the desired outcome.

· Understanding consumer focus and shaping marketing plans to increase conversion.

· Collaborating with multiple internal and external stakeholders, delivering assets and strategies to meet the needs of the business.

· Supporting in Project Management through building timelines and monitoring progress.

· Updating our CMS (Umbraco) ensuring that information is up to date and meets the needs of both growth marketing strategies and internal stakeholders.

· Having a basic understanding of Martech platforms including Google Suite, Hootsuite, AdButler, JIRA, SEMrush etc.

The ideal candidate will:

· Have experience across the full Google Suite, particularly, Google Analytics.

· Have had exposure to and experience with social strategies and campaigns.

· Have experience briefing and liaising with media agencies to develop strategies which support growth.

· Be able to work with digital, product and commercial specialists to ensure optimal execution and development of campaigns.

· Assist in quarterly planning to deliver against commercial KPIs.

· Update and monitor content plans across a plethora of touchpoints ensuring timely execution.

· Proactively manage and maintain website content.

· Create and deliver reports in a timely manner, including optimisation recommendations.

· Be creative and deliver online assets and copy which delivers against objectives.

· Support the Growth Marketing Manager in the execution of their strategies.
