Purpose of Role
UpHealth is reshaping how healthcare is delivered - with an emphasis on accessible, high quality, and equitable care for all. This team member will drive client satisfaction, retention and revenue expansion within UpHealth’s existing book of business. You will work with clients within our Integrated Care solution suite (SHIE, HIE, CIE, Care Management), AI and Data / Analytics. Clients may span payors, health systems and government entities . Essential to success within this role is the ability to establish productive relationships across a client’s organization (C-Suite, Leadership, Sponsor, Advocate, Operator), as well as revenue growth mindset. You will be responsible for collaborating closely with our Sales, Innovation Lab, Product and Marketing teams to identify, architect and implement client strategies and growth opportunities. You will be relied upon to deliver mutual success to UpHealth and our clients.

Drive client satisfaction across leaders, buyers and influencers within client organizations; Independently drive renewals and relationships that will secure revenue expansion.
Bring the voice of our clients into all facets of the UpHealth business, and be the greatest advocate of UpHealth with clients.
Maintain product expertise, as well as a deep appreciation of the markets and competitors around us.
Core Responsibilities:
- Own end-to-end process and financial projections of clients within your book of business
- Build and execute a detailed annual client strategy plan for each client; Use recurring meetings, Quarterly and Annual Business Reviews to socialize success to goals
- Prioritize client initiatives in a manner that delights our customers, secures contract renewals and represents the quickest path to revenue expansion; Develop a pipeline of short-, mid- and long-term initiatives.
- Lead clinical and technical workflow, operations and business growth conversations with highly complex buyers; Use effective presentations and demonstrations to articulate how UpHealth is improving the outcomes and financials of our buyers
- Champion the voice of the customer to drive innovation and competitive value within UpHealth
- Fully comprehend and leverage the value of UpHealth’s platform, product suite and analytics within the market (at conferences, within social media, etc) to spread brand awareness
- Know when to ask for help; Collaborate and rely on internal partners (Executives and peers) for support when needed

Professional Experience, Essential Skills, and Knowledge
- 7 - 10 years of account management experience focused on digital transformation and technology-enabled integrated care delivery, AI and/or data and analytics.
- Demonstrated success building and executing account strategy, which includes customer satisfaction, renewal and revenue expansion, within payors, health systems and/or government entities; Demonstrated experience scaling client teams and leading difficult discussions with C-suite executives
- In-depth knowledge of the U.S. healthcare system, provider technology ecosystem, best practices in health system management and health regulations. Even better - also possess an understanding of Medicaid and Medicare markets.
- Self-starter and critical thinker in fast moving environments.
- Ability to work cross-functionally to meet aggressive deadlines while maintaining professionalism and poise.
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and written communication skills; Possess the ability to inspire those around them.
